Our Faith
Our Faith is that of a Non-Denominational Church and based on the Holy Scriptures
1. God our Father is to be glorified. He is not the author of confusion but of peace.
2. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, is to be praised and magnified as the only one in whom there is salvation. Through faith in His Virgin Birth, His Righteousness, His Holy Sacrifice on the cross of Calvary, His Resurrection from the dead, His Ascension to Heaven, and His Coming Again, we have hope. Because of all that He has done for us, we have forgiveness of our sins, “for by grace we are saved through faith.”
3. The Holy Spirit leads us in our praises and work for our Lord.
4. The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the spirit and life of the Christian. They are to be heard and obeyed as an inner law by the direct voice of the Holy Spirit within each one without reference to anyone else. This is the hope of our calling to life.
5. Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper is open to all people who have placed their faith in the only Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Currently, we share in this special time every first Sunday of the month and at other special times during the year.
6. Baptism is an outward appearance of what has happened inwardly. The mode of Baptism only has significance to the individual. Our Congregation accepts three modes of water Baptism: Sprinkling, Pouring, and Emersion.
7. Grace is the free gift of God offered to everyone. The different doctrines concerning “once in Grace, always in Grace,” “Backsliding,” and “Falling form Grace,” are not discussed in our Church. Regardless of your situation, we want to know what we can do to help you find His Eternal Love and Peace.
